MEET DIANNE

In 2007 Dianne helped to start a new church-based crisis pregnancy counselling initiative in Pretoria. After completing the training and the required 150hrs of in-person client counselling, she  was astounded by how lives could be changed by creating a safe space for people facing an unplanned pregnancy, women and men who needed to pour out their heart, fears and anxieties. In walking the road with these clients, she found it was also essential to get them all the information needed to make  informed choices, that are right for them.

On returning to Cape Town, Dianne was aware that there was also a great need for such a centre in her area. After years of providing options counselling and involvement with the baby safe at the church, Bright Hope Pregnancy Care Centre was established to meet the needs of our community in Cape Town.
